Project Overview
Modernising a Working Government Office
Pioneer Builders Limited was entrusted with the execution of the Rehabilitation of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Tanga Regional Office Building. The project aligns with the Government's strategic objective to modernise public infrastructure, improve staff welfare and enhance the overall working environment for TRA employees in Tanga.
Rehabilitating an existing structure is a different discipline to building new. Every element is assessed before it is retained, upgraded or removed — and the sequence has to work around a live, occupied site rather than an empty one.
The project contributes to long-term institutional efficiency, improved service delivery and sustainability within the public sector.

Demolition & Structural Upgrading
Demolition of obsolete sections, reconstruction where necessary, and column and beam reinforcement to upgrade the retained frame.

Roof Structure & Waterproofing
Fabrication and erection of the structural steel roof trusses, followed by roof repair and waterproofing to seal the building.

Electrical rewiring, new plumbing and water systems, HVAC and ventilation, ICT structured cabling, fire safety and security systems.
