Modernising Public Infrastructure in the Capital
Pioneer Builders Limited was entrusted with the execution of the rehabilitation of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Dodoma Regional Office Building, together with the construction of residential houses for TRA staff.
The project aligns with the Government's strategic objective to modernise public infrastructure, improve staff welfare, and enhance the overall working and living environment for TRA employees in the capital city, Dodoma.
It supports the broader decentralisation effort and contributes to long-term institutional efficiency, service delivery and sustainability within the public sector.

Office rehabilitation and staff residential housing, delivered under one contract.
Full structural assessment and upgrading of the existing office building, including the demolition of obsolete sections and reconstruction where the assessment required it.
Complete electrical rewiring of the building, lighting upgrades throughout, and new power distribution systems sized for modern office loads.
Installation of new plumbing and water systems throughout the building, together with roof repair and waterproofing to protect the refurbished interior.
A full interior refit — ceilings, walls, flooring, painting and partitioning — alongside the renovation of washrooms, kitchens and public areas.
Structured cabling throughout the building, data points to every workstation, and purpose-built server rooms to support TRA's regional operations.
Fire safety and security system installations, HVAC systems and ventilation improvements, plus accessibility upgrades bringing the building into compliance with health and safety standards.
Site clearance, excavation and foundation work, followed by the construction of modern, durable residential units for TRA staff, complete with electrical, plumbing and finishing works.
Roads, drainage, landscaping and perimeter fencing across the residential site, along with water storage tanks, power backup systems and green building elements for energy efficiency.
